2. Medicinal chemistry and chemical biology: synthesis and biological activity of synthetic compounds and search for new targets. The section program includes issues of the impact of biologically active and medicinal molecules, as well as nanomaterials on the human body, their impact on the molecular organisation of structural components of the cell, elucidation of metabolic pathways and molecular-cellular mechanisms of action. Special attention will be paid to the study of molecular mechanisms of response of cellular components and living organisms to penetrating radiation, ultraviolet and ionising radiation, electromagnetic fields, mechanical, cold, thermal, chemical, toxic effects and the creation of protective agents.
